Maintaining a Drug-Free Work Environment

Each year the Maintaining a Drug-Free Work Environment brochure is updated and made available to all university faculty, staff, and students. The brochure includes signs of unhealthy alcohol or other drug use, Maryland and DC laws and penalties, and resources for faculty, staff, and students who seek support.

If you would like printed copies of the brochure, please email worklife@jhu.edu with the quantity and an address where they should be sent.

If you are concerned about a co-worker's unhealthy use of alcohol or other drugs, you may contact the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FASAP) at 443-997-7000 or fasap@jhu.edu. You may also contact the Professional Assistance Committee or the Nursing Professional Assistance Committee. You can learn more about these two committees on the Physician and Nurse Assistance page of the Work, Life and Engagement website.
