The seventh annual Basket Bingo, benefiting United Way of Central Maryland, will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, in the Glass Pavilion.
In addition to the three sites where tickets have been on sale—J-Card Office, Garland Hall; Athletics Office, Athletics & Recreation Center; Wolman Hall, Housing Office—a fourth location to purchase tickets has opened at Johns Hopkins at Eastern, in C-100.
The event features 15 bingo games with an opportunity to win 15 great baskets donated by Homewood employees as well as local businesses. Fast Pass tickets ($20 in advance; $25 at the door) get you all 15 bingo games, lunch (hotdog/veggie dog, drink, chips, and cookie), and raffle entries for a Recreation Center membership and a pair of lacrosse tickets to all regular season games. Individual bingo cards will also be sold at the event if you prefer not to purchase a Fast Pass or if you want extra cards.
