Do babies learn before birth? Seeking pregnant women for a study

This research study is seeking pregnant women between 35 and 38 weeks of pregnancy for a two-hour visit to determine whether fetuses can learn before birth. The participant will be required to stand and sit several times over the course of an hour. The patient and fetus will have noninvasive monitoring of their heart rates during the visit. There are no risks to the participant or the fetus. There is a brief ultrasound during the visit where pictures will be provided if possible. Compensation is provided.

If you are interested in participating, please contact us anytime after 20 weeks of pregnancy to schedule. Heather Watson, hwatson7@jhu.edu, 410-371-6212.
