Leave your lunch home and bring your favorite Halloween costume or accessory to the 13th annual Johns Hopkins University United Way Chili Cook-Off/Dessert Bake-Off. Grab your co-workers and head to the Glass Pavilion in Levering Hall on the Homewood campus, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30, to celebrate Halloween with tasty treats, a costume contest, raffles, and more!
Enjoy some spookily good chili and desserts, all while raising funds to support organizations providing services in our surrounding communities. Admission is $5 with a Halloween costume or accessory, $10 without a Halloween costume or accessory. Admission includes the opportunity to sample and vote for your favorite chili and bake-off items (while they last), and a catered lunch including chili, cornbread, dessert, and drink. In addition, guests can purchase raffle tickets for a variety of JHU items, which will be drawn and awarded onsite.
If you're interested in entering your best vegetarian chili, the deadline is 5 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27.
