Please join the Office of the Provost and the Urban Health Institute at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, at the School of Nursing, for a planning meeting for the 2016 Social Determinants of Health Symposium. Open to anyone interested in framing the topic for the next symposium.
Past symposia have focused on issues related to incarceration and community-level trauma. This annual symposium brings together national experts and local leaders with Johns Hopkins faculty, staff, and students to examine issues of social and economic inequity, and their impact on the health and well-being of Baltimore.
