Luce Scholars Program for seniors, grad students, alumni

The Luce Scholarship provides for a yearlong internship in Asia arranged for each Luce Scholar on the basis of his/her specific interest, background, qualifications, and experience. The program was designed as a cultural experience for young leaders who have had no prior experience of Asia and who might not otherwise have an opportunity in the normal course of their careers to come to know Asia or their Asian counterparts and contemporaries. The program seeks to broaden their professional perspective and to sharpen their perceptions of Asia, of America, and of themselves.

If you know any graduating seniors, alumni, and graduate students (under age 30) who would be a strong match for this program, please encourage them to contact Dr. Miller (jemiller@jhu.edu) in the National Fellowships Program immediately. The application deadline is Oct. 15. Thank you!
