It's that time of year again, and Health Leads is recruiting for Advocates for the 2015–16 school year! Health Leads is a nonprofit, student-led organization that works with low-income individuals of the Baltimore community who require access to community resources, such as housing, food, health, and insurance. Our mission as an organization is to bridge the gap in the health care system by addressing the social determinants of health. If you are at all interested in improving the health and social environment of your community while working with physicians, stepping outside the Hopkins bubble to learn more about Baltimore, or in working with some truly awesome people, please click here to find out more about our organization.
