Transportation Services announces new shuttle GPS real-time prediction provider and fall schedules

Transportation Services is pleased to announce that Nextbus will be phased out on Aug. 14 as we launch a new bus tracking system. Transloc, which can be accessed at http://jhu.transloc.com, is a premier provider of GPS-based tracking systems. With its proven, updated technologies offered to the university at lower annual costs, we believe Transloc will provide efficient, accurate reports on shuttle arrival times and serve all our passengers well.

Updated schedules and routes for the Blue Jay Shuttle and Homewood-Peabody-JHMI Shuttle will go into effect Friday, Aug. 14. The Keswick-Homewood-Eastern-JHMI Shuttle will go into effect Monday, Aug. 17. As previously announced, the Homewood–Mount Washington Shuttle will be discontinued after the final run on that same day.
