Baltimore City families need your help to afford mandatory school uniforms

Help Baltimore City families who cannot afford mandatory school uniforms for their children by donating $40.

Baltimore City Public Schools has seen a strong correlation between student access to school uniforms and student attendance. Starting the school year with new uniforms helps build confidence in students and allows them to better focus on classwork.

To sponsor a student, click here by 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug.14.

The Johns Hopkins Adopt-a-Student Uniform Drive was established in 2011 to assist families in purchasing the required Baltimore City Public Schools uniforms. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the Johns Hopkins community over the past three years, more than 1,800 students have received two new uniforms each.
