School supplies drive for Dunbar HS ends this week

Please consider donating school supplies for a Dunbar High School freshman. Johns Hopkins University and the Paul Laurence Dunbar High School for the Health Professions have had a long-standing partnership —the Dunbar Hopkins Health Partnership —and now is the time to show Baltimore youth that we care about their education. Under Armour and Harbor City Links Inc., other hometown institutions, are providing the backpacks, and it's up to us here at JHU to fill them!

For just $25 (+ tax = $26.50) you can give a student all the items he or she needs to get off to a successful start in school: pens, notebooks, highlighters, dividers, pencils, etc. And, we've made it a simple process—all you need to do is go to http://www.epipacks.com, enter our code, JOH410, enter "donation kit" for student name, enter your payment information, and you're done! It takes only a matter of minutes! The deadline to donate is July 31 so that the items can be shipped on time.

We are about halfway to our goal of getting 250 kits donated. We need your help to make sure all ninth-graders receive school supplies as part of their summer orientation program. If we exceed the 250 donation mark, we will provide the additional kits to students in other grades who are in need.
