Volunteers wanted for dermatology study, may help U.S. military veterans

Individuals with normal, healthy skin are needed to donate skin samples as part of research in the Department of Dermatology. Information from this study can help researchers working on problems like skin breakdown in patients with amputations and prosthetics. The study is funded by the Armed Forces Institute for Regenerative Medicine and the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases.

Study volunteers must meet the following criteria:

  • Be age 18 to 65
  • Be in good health
  • Be willing to come in for multiple visits over 10 months and undergo a lab test (one time)

Compensation is $400 for time and travel.
