Live Near Your Work walking tour: Central Baltimore

Join Sandy Jenkins, coordinator for the Johns Hopkins Live Near Your Work program, to learn how you might qualify for a $23,000 LNYW grant. This tour will focus on the Central Baltimore neighborhoods that will benefit from Homewood Community Partners Initiative (HCPI): Abell, Barclay, Charles North, Charles Village, Greenmount West, Harwood, Oakenshawe, Old Goucher, Remington, Wyman Park, and Waverly Main Street. HCPI is an exciting effort led by JHU to revitalize the neighborhoods around the Homewood campus, including the Station North Arts and Entertainment District. Penn Station is in the heart of Central Baltimore, allowing easy access to local, regional, and national travel.

The tour will start and end at Price Modern, 2604 Sisson St, Baltimore, MD 21211. There is a parking lot and plenty of street parking. A resource fair and a light dinner will take place at the end of the tour.

Thursday, May 28, HW, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
