According to its website, "the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons (P&S) conferred the first Doctor of Medicine degree in the North American Colonies in 1770 and, for the last 242 years, has upheld the belief that "Of the Most High Cometh Healing."
Stephen Nichols, professor and associate dean of admissions at P&S, will take a comprehensive look at what distinguishes medical school education at Columbia, including the many research, international, community, clinical, extracurricular, and other opportunities available and some of their unique degree programs and tracks.
The event is at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, in Mason Hall board room.
