Register for the HEMI/MICA Extreme Arts open house

The HEMI/MICA Extreme Arts Program is a new initiative that will bring together faculty and students from Johns Hopkins University and the Maryland Institute College of Art to explore unique perspectives on extreme events. The program aims to encourage collaboration among artists and researchers to examine data, interpret outcomes, and translate results from extreme events in new ways. It is our hope that this dialogue will create a stronger community through a shared sense of curiosity and exploration.

To launch the program, an open house will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on April 16 in Malone Hall. The event will provide an opportunity for JHU and MICA faculty to learn about each other's research interests and explore potential synergies. Details about the event are here. Registration is required to attend.
