Individuals at least 18 years of age with a current diagnosis of melasma are needed for a research study investigating the effects of visible light on the skin.
Participation involves digital photographs, skin color readings, visible light treatments, up to six small skin biopsies. This is a three-month study with up to six study visits.
Will I be paid to join the study? Yes. $20 for each biopsy. Up to $120 for completion of the study.
