The HOP & Relay for Life present: 3rd annual Bake-Off

Do you like to eat? Do you like to bake? Do you like free, delicious homemade desserts? Excellent, then this event is for you!

The HOP and Relay for Life present the third annual Bake-Off: 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, in the Glass Pavilion. Enter below as an individual or student group and compete to see who is JHU's best dessert chef. You provide the desserts, and we'll take care of the rest.

The categories of Presentation & Creativity, Taste, School Spirit, and the All-Around will be evaluated by our celebrity judges. The popular vote, meanwhile, will be decided by the hungry crowd! Come and support your friends and organizations, and sample some scrumptious deserts.

Presentation & Creativity
- First-place prize: Kitchenaid Stand Mixer
Second place prize: $25 to Starbucks

  • Taste
    First-place prize: $100 to Woodberry Kitchen
    Second-place prize: $25 to Carma's Cafe

  • School Spirit
    First-place prize: SURPRISE
    Second-place prize: $25 to Barnes & Noble

  • All-Around
    First-place prize: Kitchenaid Stand Mixer
    Second-place prize: $25 to Starbucks

  • Student Group All-Around
    $100 to your student group

  • Separate popular vote
    $75 Amazon

This is a CHARITY event. Each entry will have a donation jar in front of it. If you like that entry, donate some loose change. The entry with the most money collected wins the popular vote! At the end of the night, the money raised by the submissions will be donated to Relay for Life, which benefits the American Cancer Society.

Judges will award points in all the following categories, and the entry with the highest points in that category will win the associated prize! You cannot win in more than ONE category.
