MetLife's Retirewise: A four-part series

Retirewise offers comprehensive retirement education for all employees—regardless of age. This four-part program can play a fundamental role in your basic financial and retirement planning. A broad spectrum of financial- and retirement-related issues will be covered in these one-hour sessions, including budgeting, investment principles, Social Security, and estate planning. After the workshop series is complete, you have the option to meet individually with a financial professional to discuss your specific circumstances and goals. It is advantageous to attend all four sessions. This series is currently offered only at the Keswick campus, but all employees are welcome to attend.

  • Pt 1: Building the Foundation—In the first workshop, you will envision the retirement you want and how to finance it based on current and future retirement trends. The workshop covers financial basics as well as the importance of tax diversification.

Friday, March 6, Keswick, noon to 1 p.m.

  • Pt 2: Creating and Managing Wealth—The second workshop examines how you can accumulate assets during working years. You will look at investment strategies to manage market risk, including asset allocation, diversification, and portfolio rebalancing.
