fMRI study at LIBD looking for healthy male participants

Are you a healthy, nonsmoking Caucasian (white) male between the ages of 18 and 35?

You may be eligible for a study with the Lieber Institute for Brain Development that investigates the neural effects of nimodipine, a safe FDA-approved calcium channel blocker, on brain function. Commitment includes a two-hour screening visit followed by two daylong scanning study visits, where you will receive either drug or placebo and perform cognitive tasks during a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) scan. You will be compensated up to $500 for completing the study, and lunch is provided on scanning days.

Please contact the Pharm Team at 443-287-5675 or pharmteam@libd.org for more information.
