The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland are partnering in a program to provide funds to encourage innovative research in pathogenic mechanisms, basic science, and therapeutic approaches related to muscle and bone research. It is intended to provide funding for young or transitioning investigators to conduct preliminary research in support of a subsequent R01 application. The Letters of Intent are due Feb. 9.
