Paid psychology study

The Behavioral Medicine Research Lab is recruiting healthy individuals and individuals with knee arthritis, who are at least 45 years old, to participate in a knee pain study at the Johns Hopkins Bayview campus.

The study involves two days of participation. Both sessions involve injecting saline and naloxone through an IV (naloxone is FDA approved and frequently used in studies like this). Both sessions will also involve sensory testing procedures (heat, cold, and pressure), blood draws, and completing questionnaires. Participants will earn $225 for completion of all study procedures.

If you are interested in volunteering for our experiments, please call Jim Stone at 410-550-7906 or Megan Pejsa at 410-550-4225 for more information.
