Course: Diagnosis, Care, and Management of Persons with HIV/AIDS

A one-week "state of the science" course, Jan. 5–9, presented through a collaborative partnership with the Pennsylvania/Mid-Atlantic AIDS Education Training Center, providing evidence-based clinical management strategies and prevention techniques for HIV/AIDS.

Interprofessional presentations and discussions focus on the biology, epidemiology, and impact of HIV/AIDS, with content including diagnostic testing and management of opportunistic infections, chronic health conditions, and comorbidities resulting from HIV and its treatment.
