In memory of Vernon Rice, a longtime Johns Hopkins employee and community volunteer, the Johns Hopkins community is invited to donate $20 to provide a basket of a fresh turkey and vegetables from a local free-range farm for a family in need. St. Anthony of Padua Church will deliver the food baskets directly to families for the November and December holidays.
To participate, please send a $20 check or money order made payable to: JHU Turkey Program Office of Work, Life and Engagement 1101 E. 33rd Street, Suite C100 Baltimore, MD 21218 Payment must be received by Nov. 5 to assist families for Thanksgiving and Dec. 5 for the December holidays.
