The Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research and the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing invite you to attend "Understanding and Evaluating Health Research," a free workshop focusing on the role of the community advisory board in performing research. Attendees will learn about ethical principles used to protect research participants and have an opportunity to network with community advisory board members and researchers.
Date: Thursday, Nov. 6 Time: 4 to 8 p.m. Place: School of Nursing, room 217
All are welcome to attend, particularly individuals currently serving on a Johns Hopkins community advisory board; faculty, staff, students, and local residents interested in joining an advisory board; and individuals seeking knowledge on how to understand and evaluate health research.
