Healthy Minds is a recently founded student group dedicated to helping young men and women develop a stronger foundation in math. It is a group formed by medical graduate students who are about to graduate and would like to extend this organization into the undergraduate campus to recruit more volunteers and students. We have partnered with nearby Commodore John Rodgers Elementary and Middle School with the goal of helping their students strive higher and achieve more in the area of math. We believe that healthy futures begin with healthy minds, and we're looking for undergraduates who shares this vision to work closely with us. The volunteers' responsibilities will include strategic planning, marketing, volunteer coordination, and/or co-teaching in the classroom with medical and graduate student volunteers. This is a unique opportunity to help grow an organization and impact the community while working closely with medical and graduate students.
