Compost bins now standard in Charles Commons event spaces

The Homewood Recycling Office, Housing, and Conference Services are excited to announce the addition of compost bins to Ballrooms A, B, and C and Room 304. The compost bins are now standard and simplify the ability to have a zero-waste event. A zero-waste event is an event where all waste can be recycled or composted. This is very simple to do with a preferred green caterer since they provide compostable products at no extra charge. Over the past year, 63% of the events held on the Homewood campus were zero-waste.
