Earlier this week Baltimore City DOT crews opened northbound Charles Street between 33rd Street and University Parkway.
Pedestrians are reminded to obey pedestrian crossing signals in the area of 33rd/34th streets and the Beach, and at University Parkway.
There is a very large pedestrian crossing at the newly completed roadway at 34th Street and the Beach. Traffic signals are installed to stop traffic on each side of the large ellipse to allow pedestrian crossing, and pedestrian signals are functioning.
Drivers and pedestrians are asked to be particularly alert as the roadway has once again reopened to traffic this week after two years of being closed for construction.
