Healthy volunteers, 45-80 years old, are needed for a one-time visit to serve as normal controls in a research study to evaluate skin punch biopsies for peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage). Potential subjects will undergo a telephone screening. The study visit will consist of a brief neurologic examination. Those qualifying will undergo three to four 3mm punch skin biopsies.
