Emergency drill on Homewood campus

Dear Members of the Johns Hopkins Community,

This is to notify you that Baltimore police and Johns Hopkins will conduct a joint training exercise on the university's Homewood campus on Sunday morning, Aug. 10, from 8 a.m. to noon.

The exercise will take place on Decker Quadrangle on the southern end of campus; the quad includes Clark, Garland, Hackerman, Malone, and Mason halls. Clark Hall and the brick walkways around it will be completely closed during the exercise. Decker Quad will remain open, as will the South Garage and all other areas of campus. During the exercise, there will be a visible Campus Security presence in the quad, and Clark Hall will be blocked off with yellow caution tape, but it is only a drill.

We apologize for any inconvenience this exercise may cause you. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Jon Links at jlinks1@jhu.edu.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Links Professor and Chief Risk Officer

Keith Hill Vice President for Corporate Security
