Contractors will be removing and replacing the crumbling walkway on the north side of Whitehead between the Mattin Center and Maryland Hall during the week of Aug. 4. Because of the construction activities and the vehicular traffic continuing to use the roadway serving the BLC, pedestrians should be cautious, especially when traveling between Maryland Hall and the Mattin Center. Pedestrians will be routed around the construction area onto the grass for the balance of the week as the new concrete walkway is placed and the concrete cures.
