We are halfway through our 2014 wellness journey. During the month of July, the Benefits Office is focusing on motivation. As the temperatures rise, we need to keep our motivation up to make good lifestyle choices including eating healthy and exercising.
Motivation levels are not simply a given: we can learn to influence our levels of motivation and self-control. Motivation is the engine that powers our everyday decisions, and there are great strategies for keeping that engine running, from focusing on enjoyment to taking tiny steps.
