So you want to do something this summer? How about change lives? Centro SOL runs a five-week summer program for high school students and we need volunteers: July 11, 9–noon – Field trip to the Sim Center. East Baltimore campus July 11, noon–3 – Participate in a conversation with students about careers in health fields.- EBC Aug. 1, 3–4 – Check out an administrative track – Bayview Medical Center campus Aug. 4 to Aug. 8 – Availability at the Bayview campus for activities such as helping high school students prepare their presentations and guiding them around the campus. Some administrative tasks may be assigned.
As mentors, you will be required to take an online (easy, quick, and simple) orientation on child abuse awareness, and we are required to do a background check (no cost for you). If interested please contact Monica at Centro SOL: mguerre3@jhmi.edu or 410-550-1129.
