The JHU Office of Study Abroad invites proposals for Intersession Programs Abroad in 2015

The JHU Office of Study Abroad invites proposals for Intersession Programs Abroad in 2015. If you or faculty in your department are interested in offering a three-credit intersession course abroad, please email Lori Citti (lcitti1@jhu.edu) to discuss setting up a program for January 2015. Please make inquiries before July 14, 2014.

Intersession courses abroad must be approved by academic departments. Courses may be taught by faculty or graduate students (ABD) approved by their home departments to deliver the course. The Office of Study Abroad will assist you and your department in developing the program, including setting up arrangements on site, student recruitment, budgets, and other logistical components.

The Office of Study Abroad offers intersession instructors compensation in the form of a bonus supplement, travel expenses, accommodations, and a meal stipend.

If you are interested in offering an intersession course abroad or would just like additional information, please feel free to contact Lori A. Citti, PhD, director of Study Abroad, at lcitti1@jhu.edu or 410-516-6760.
