Johns Hopkins University today announced its 13-game men's lacrosse schedule for the 2026 season, a lineup that begins with the Blue Jays' first-ever game in the month of January and features eight teams that competed in the NCAA tournament a season ago, including three that advanced to the national semifinals.
Hopkins, led by Peter Milliman in his sixth season as head coach, opens at home on Jan. 31 against Robert Morris, the first of eight games at Homewood Field and the first-ever meeting between the Blue Jays and the Colonials.
JHU opens Big Ten Conference play at home against Michigan on March 21 and concludes its regular season with an April 18 Homecoming showdown with rival Maryland, last season's NCAA runner-up.
All six teams in the Big Ten will advance to the conference tournament, with Rutgers hosting the semifinals and championship on April 30 and May 2, respectively. Hopkins is coming off a season in which it won its first four games and raced to a 6-2 start but went winless against Big Ten opposition en route to a 6-8 record.
Exact game times and television schedules will be finalized at a later date. The announced schedule includes a tentative game date on a specific weekend, but the exact date has not been finalized and is subject to change.
As has been the case in every year since 2006, all Johns Hopkins home games will air on the ESPN family of networks. An exact schedule has not been finalized, but any games that do not air live on ESPNU will air live on ESPN+, and ESPN+ broadcasts will then air later on ESPNU, generally within 24 hours.
