Johns Hopkins named top producer of Fulbright student grantees

For the 13th consecutive year, Johns Hopkins University was named a top producer of Fulbright U.S. Student grants, with 20 Fulbrights awarded to university students and alumni for the 2022-23 application cycle. Forty-three percent of Johns Hopkins Fulbright applicants were offered grants, placing Hopkins at third in the nation for percentage of acceptances in the doctoral-granting institutions category.

The Fulbright program is among the largest and most diverse exchange programs in the world, supporting approximately 9,000 merit-based scholarships in the United States and 160 countries for accomplished students, scholars, teachers, artists, and professionals of all backgrounds and fields. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program supports roughly 2,000 recent graduates, graduate students, and early-career professionals each year who pursue graduate study, conduct research, or teach English abroad.

At Johns Hopkins, the National Fellowships Program helps students and recent graduates apply for Fulbright Study/Research Awards and the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Awards.
