The Johns Hopkins volleyball team wrapped up a perfect regular season on Saturday with a dominant straight-set victory against Centennial Conference rival Franklin & Marshall.
The No. 7 Blue Jays (27-0) rolled to a 25-15, 25-15, 25-7 win to earn their third regular-season conference title in the past four years. Hopkins did not lose a set in 10 conference matches this season. The Diplomats (19-5) had been unbeaten in conference play entering the match.
JHU finished the match with a hitting percentage of .400, with Louisa Kishton (11 kills), Simone Bliss (seven kills), Hannah Korslund (six kills), and Eleni Panagopoulos (six kills) leading the way. Natalie Aston had 27 assists to go with a career-high nine aces, and Nicole Hada had 14 digs.
Hopkins will host this weekend's Centennial Conference tournament and awaits the winner of a match between fourth-seeded Haverford and fifth-seeded Swarthmore in the semifinal round.
