The second day of spring brought a wintry blast to the Baltimore region, as a slow-moving nor'easter dumped snow across the area. Forecasts called for four to eight inches of snow, with higher totals north and west of Baltimore.
Johns Hopkins University was closed for the day, and the Homewood campus was nearly empty, with many students away for spring break.
