And now for something completely different.
This year's "Thank You" video, the annual message of gratitude to the Johns Hopkins University community and its supporters, is something of a departure from past installments. JHU President Ronald J. Daniels gets things rolling, and then ... well, see for yourself.
The "Thank You" video is a tradition started in 2009 as a way for President Daniels and the university to thank everyone whose contributions, big and small, make the work at Johns Hopkins University possible.
"As 2017 draws to a close and we look toward the year ahead, I cannot help but marvel at the impact of your creativity and compassion on Johns Hopkins and the communities of which we are a part," Daniels wrote in a message accompanying the video this morning. "You keep us in constant motion as we work together to imagine and build a better world.
"We hope you enjoy this year's video message, celebrating the many facets of the extraordinary community that is Johns Hopkins."
