Weekend picks: Johns Hopkins events roundup for Dec. 1-3

There are plenty of events on campus this weekend—here are our favorites

This weekend ushers in the beginning of December. Snowfall, twinkling lights, holiday gift-giving, and final exams are not far off. Make time for any one of these campus events before hunkering down in the library to study.

ATHLETICS

Hoopy Holiday is an annual event in Goldfarb Gym that celebrates the end of the fall semester and the start of winter, while supporting the men's and women's basketball teams here at JHU. There will be free t-shirts for students at both games, a hot cocoa bar, holiday cookies, a photo booth with Jay, and the opportunity to write letters to children at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center. You can also win prizes during the ugly sweater, snowman layup, and SANTA (holiday version of HORSE) contests.
