Jordan Tropf, a 25-year-old Johns Hopkins University medical student, placed first in the 17th annual Baltimore Marathon on Saturday morning.
Tropf, a 2014 Naval Academy graduate, finished the 26.2-mile course through the city in 2 hours, 29 minutes, and 6 seconds, more than three minutes faster than the second-place finisher. Tropf clocked in at a pace of 5:41 per mile.
This was Tropf's first time competing in the Baltimore Marathon.
