Volleyball: Johns Hopkins matches school record with 16th consecutive victory

No. 18 Blue Jays improve to 17-2 with four-set win against McDaniel

The Johns Hopkins volleyball team matched the team record for consecutive wins Wednesday night as the Blue Jays defeated McDaniel 26-24, 12-25, 25-20, 25-13 for their 16th consecutive victory.

No. 18 Hopkins (17-2) got 15 kills and 20 digs from sophomore Louisa Kishton and 12 kills from senior Elizabeth Wuerstle. Natalie Aston added 20 assists, and Kristi Rhead added 17.

The Blue Jays will go for their record 17th win in a row on Friday when they take on No. 17 Juniata at 7 p.m. at Goldfarb Gym.
