Blue Jay Opening Day welcomed students back to campus on Saturday and kicked off the Johns Hopkins home football season.
A budding Hopkins tradition, the pre-game tailgate treated students to a DJ, airbrush tattoos, inflatables, giant board games, Mission BBQ, and more.
Nearly 15 campus partners—including the Digital Media Center, Fraternity and Sorority Life, OrcaTV, and the Center for Social Concern—were on-site to offer resources and information to new students. First-year students also picked up their Class of 2021 T-shirts that feature a student-created Blue Jay design.
The event is sponsored by the Hopkins Parents Fund.
