Johns Hopkins University students are gearing up for final exams—which begin Wednesday—but not without a supply of sweet treats and hot drinks to get them through the night.
JHU President Ronald J. Daniels and his wife, Joanne Rosen, joined forces with Terry Martinez, dean of student life, to pass out donuts, hot chocolate, coffee, and cider for the annual Donuts with the President study break event on Monday night.
Stationed on the Milton S. Eisenhower Library terrace, the trio passed out 800 donuts from Herman's Bakery, which were all gone by 10 p.m.
The last final exams take place on Thursday, Dec. 22.
