Notice anything ... different?

Yes, right—the snow is finally, mercifully gone (if only for a day or so). But we're talking about something a bit more colorful—the green, yellow, blue, and pink chairs that have popped up all over the Homewood campus. Maybe you've noticed them?

Last week, on the first day of spring, more than 80 new chairs (and a handful of side tables) were dropped off at three locations—on the Wyman Quad, Keyser Quad, and the lawn next to Whitehead Hall—courtesy of Homewood Student Affairs.

What you do with the chairs is completely up to you.

"We know our students are extremely driven and often it's hard to find those moments to just stop, relax, and reflect," said Kevin Shollenberger, vice provost for student affairs. "We hope these chairs are used as informal gathering places where our students will sit with their friends and enjoy a new perspective of our beautiful campus."

So go. Sit. Put your feet up. Unwind.

You work hard. We think you deserve it.
