About 280 students had brightly colored chalk thrown at them over the weekend as they ran, jogged, walked, and/or flinched awkwardly during the annual 5K Color Run on the Johns Hopkins University's Homewood campus.
The event raised more than $2,500 for the Johns Hopkins Children's Center, part of the Children's Miracle Network.
The Color Run is sponsored by Johns Hopkins Dance Marathon, the HOP, PEEPs and the Parents Fund.
