The University of Pennsylvania's Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program has ranked SAIS's Center for Transatlantic Relations as the No. 1 university-affiliated think tank in Washington, D.C., No. 5 in the United States, and No. 8 in the world, the school has announced.
The 2012 Global GoTo Think Tank rankings are based on a worldwide survey of 1,900 scholars, journalists, policymakers, and peers from 120 countries. CTR has consistently appeared in the rankings of university-affiliated centers of excellence since they were first initiated in 2006.
