Blue Jays' Kronick earns third-team All-America honors

Sophomore set a school single-season record with 24 goals

Johns Hopkins sophomore Hannah Kronick, who scored 24 goals for the women's soccer team this season to set a single-season school record, was selected to the NSCAA Division III All-America third team on Tuesday.

Kronick is the fifth Blue Jay in five years to garner All-America recognition, and the second sophomore in school history so honored.

Kronick recorded five hat tricks for the season, also a school record, and ranks third in school history with 43 goals in 45 games. She helped lead the Blue Jays to the NCAA quarterfinals in 2012, where they lost to Messiah, the eventual national champion.
