Blue Jays headed to NCAA third round for fifth season in a row

The Johns Hopkins women's soccer team is headed to the third round of the NCAA Division III tournament for the fifth consecutive season after earning a pair of wins over the weekend.

The Blue Jays (17-4-1) got three goals from sophomore Sydney Teng in a 5-0 win against Lancaster Bible on Saturday, then defeated Rowan 4-2 on Sunday to advance. Teng, Hannah Kronick, Issy Berkey, and Hope Lundberg all scored in the win.

JHU will face Lynchburg on Saturday, and the winner will advance to face the winner of a matchup between Messiah and MIT. The location of those games has not yet been announced. A complete bracket is available on the NCAA website.
