The best season in the history of the Johns Hopkins volleyball program came to an end Friday, as the Blue Jays fell in five sets to Richard Stockton College in the first round of the NCAA Division III playoffs in Salisbury, Md.
JHU (29-4) lost by set scores of 19-25, 25-15, 21-25, 25-23, 16-14. Sophomore Ellen Rogers tallied a career-best 20 kills for the Blue Jays, and freshman Jasmine Warmington added 14. Carolyn Zin had 11 digs and 24 assists.
Richard Stockton improved to 29-6 with the win, but lost to Salisbury in a second-round match.
