The Johns Hopkins volleyball team captured the Centennial Conference championship with a three-set sweep of host and top-seeded Franklin & Marshall in Lancaster, Pa., on Sunday.
The Blue Jays (29-3) won the conference for the second consecutive season advance to the NCAA Division III tournament, where they will face Richard Stockton.
Freshman Jasmine Warmington led JHU with 14 kills, and sophomore Katie Schwarz added nine kills to go with 12 digs. The Blue Jays won by set scores of 25-17, 25-22, and 25-19.
Johns Hopkins meets Richard Stockton (27-6) on Friday in an NCAA tournament first-round game at Salisbury University. The winner advances to face either Salisbury (34-3) or Mount Saint Mary (N.Y.) (23-11) on Saturday.
