The Johns Hopkins volleyball team suffered its first loss of the season Tuesday night, falling in straight sets at Stevenson. The Blue Jays had won their first 16 matches of the season and 29 regular-season matches overall dating to last season.
JHU (16-1) was held to a season-low .098 hitting percentage in the 26-24, 25-18, 25-19 loss. Freshman Jasmine Warmington led the Blue Jays with 11 kills.
Stevenson improved to 16-1 with the victory and have won 13 in a row overall. The Mustangs' only loss of the season came in five sets against Johns Hopkins on Sept. 2.
JHU plays host to Washington College on Thursday at 7 p.m.
